Pro-Hillary “Nobama” Elizabeth Joyce Milks Her 15 Minutes

Whether it was the five-minute standing ovation, her monumental speech, or the freshly-coined phrases like, “No way.  No How.  No McCain,” there is no doubt that Hillary Clinton threw her full support behind Barack Obama, and set the DNC on fire last night.  Plus, Chelsea looked fabulous.  It’s hard to believe that everyone wouldn’t be on board after such a night.  And the ‘big guys’ haven’t even spoken yet.

But just when you thought Hillary’s “Twin Cities” joke was the funniest of the night (and it was hysterical), along comes presumed posterchild and mousy malcontent Elizabeth Joyce on Larry King Live.  Leader of donation-requesting, lunatic fringe website Just Say No Deal, Ms. Joyce gave a hatter-mad interview, using SNL-worthy darting eyes, sudden sharky smiles, and shrill, self-absorbed suggestions that her party flip-flop was born of campaign trail antagonism.  Cry me a river, honey.  Thank God Tivo allowed Sam and me to fall out with laughter at this several times before going to bed, and that YouTube can bring it to you here.

Something from the DSM-IV?  Racism?  Fatigue?  Stage fright?  Unrequited lesbian obsession?  You decide.

Americans will go to just about any length to “be awn TEE-vee”, and this Benedict Arnold is no exception.  She wants to be PERSONALLY asked for her vote by Barack Obama and the DNC, via email, or maybe hand-delivered by Wonder Woman in her invisible jet.  Or else, she’s voting for Bush III.  Period.  The end.

Elizabeth, if you really are the dyed-in-the-wool, good-girl, all-embracing, staunch Democrat you claim to be, then why are you being such a hard-ass to Obama, and for what reason (other than to remain on camera for as long as possible) could you possibly be so foolishly unwavering?  BTW, this isn’t the hate mail you predicted you’d receive.  It’s WTF mail.

Hey…thanks for posting that You-Tube bit! OMG…well…there you have it Mr. King, she’s staying in down town Denver…well why don’t they know who she is and why have they not personally invited her to dinner…hmmm. By the way…I was thinking, go ahead and drop Obama and Joe and let’s just put Michelle and Hillary on the ticket! You must admit I am on to something here. And I can’t be the only one…. You do know that when it came time to make a major decision for the wellfare of the Entire Hopi Indian Nation, that the men would acauiesce to the women of the tribe. Who would then make their decision based on how it would impact the Tribe 7 generations out. Impressive yes? Michelle and Hillary there ya have it! XO

OMG…why is she even allowed to speak publicly? What an idiot!! And we wonder why there are so many problems within the Democratic party. I’m still laughing at her “personal” request to be courted for her vote. All I kept thinking was that line from Bullets over Broadway…”Don’t Speak!!”

Who is this person? Sounds like a spoiled rich kid without a thought of her own. If she is a poster for Hillary or the Women’s movement they have a big problem. Maybe if the women had worked harder instead of asking for people to “come to them” they would have won the nomination. Whining and crying because they lost just sounds like the “X” Generation — maybe a loser trophy will make her feel better.

Elizabeth, I can’t, for the life of me, understand how you–as a Dem and a woman–could even consider voting for McCain, who will not represent Hillary’s and women’s interests. Don’t you understand the importance of preventing more conservative appointments to the Supreme Court? You ask to be “courted”; I beg you to get past your peeve and vote sensibly.

This woman is already being salivated over by SNL’s Kristen Wig (who bears an uncanny resemblance to Joyce, sans the wandering eye). Her appearance on Larry King took me back to high school and the bitter girl who wallowed in her own self pity and could never see that most of the reason people had a negative attitude towards her began with her own energy and attitude toward the world. What arrogance to think that she is somehow anointed in some supreme fashion to be deserving of a special “courting” by Obama to get her vote. Sorry, Liz, get in line with the rest of us at the polls and punch your ballot. Nobody cares about your petty grievances. You’re not Kevin Costner in “Swing Vote” so let go of the self deification and try walking in the real world with the rest of us. It’s not about you. This is much bigger than you, or me, or any one individual. This is about the future of our country. And if you want to act like a teenager jilted at the prom, go right ahead. Just don’t expect any of us to come over and ask you to dance.

    1) This November, 100 million Americans will go to the polls and cast their votes without receiving a personal invitation or handwritten letter from either candidate. Why does Elizabeth Joyce seem to feel she deserves exactly this? What an incredible sense of narcissism.

    2) In the interview, Joyce alluded to the hate mail she expects to get. No doubt, Joyce rationalizes this by believing that everybody ELSE is mean and crazy. The reality is that Elizabeth Joyce is just remarkably off-putting, and would cause Gandhi himself to wring her neck.

    3) Intentional or unintentional, Joyce’s theme of “her vote as virginity” could not have been more creepy or off-tone.

Larry, I can’t believe you allow this person to speak on your show. She doesn’t make sense. What a waste of time with this dumb blonde bitch!
