Drag Show, Good Friends, Hiker Still Lost

hikersmoon.jpgP.S. Did I mention that Art Garfunkel and his family are here?

I have to amend this post. I thought we were coming home today, but our flight has been cancelled. I know, boo-hoo. We are now scheduled to leave tomorrow afternoon, and the trip will take all night. They haven’t yet found the hiker, and it really casts a pallor on the end of this trip. We saw his wife on our way to breakfast this morning, walking, stone-faced. Truth be told, this is a bit of a change from her demeanor last night, which wasn’t exactly that befitting a merry widow, but were it Sam lost up in that mountain, I would be calling for him, not tapping my foot at a Moroccan-style dinner. A Fuel Strike, a Missing Hiker, and Agitated Lesbians in Bora Bora

We’re still having a blast, but there is a fuel providers’ strike. There is a fuel tanker moored off the coast, that cannot move because it would be breaking the strike line. AND, a Canadian in our group left his wife and kids Saturday morning to go hiking up into the sacred mountain, where he wasn’t meant to go, and has been missing ever since. Or Not Swimming with Sharks

I was really proud of Sam yesterday, wading out of his comfort zone and into chest-deep water with dozens of stingrays, each about a yard across. Having been fed in this spot for a long time, they’re accustomed to the two visits they receive daily, and swim right up to anyone in the water, at the surface, to the dismay of some. One lingered in my hands for a while before the Tahitian guide, Leo, said to me, “Kiss it,” pointing to the flat space between the creature’s eyes. And I did. I’m not sure why, but it seemed like the right thing to do.

Then there were the sharks… oh boy. I don’t mean to keep you in suspense, I just want to get out of this office and back out to the fun. xo, Bronson

Swimming with Sharks

Sam and I had a great day with Kathy Griffin yesterday, with much more to tell there. Suffice it to say that it ended with a very revealing game of truth or dare… and possibly all to be seen on Bravo.

We’re headed out to swim with sharks and rays now, so if I don’t post tomorrow, please lend Sam and Mom all of your love and support. XO, Bronson

Hot Guys You Can Actually Meet: Matthew encore

Le très chaud Matthew

“I am a 28 year-old actor, home in the states after 4 years acting, working and studying at the Sorbonne in Paris; looking for the right grad school now. I’ve lived in Europe for 8 years now, but love being back in the good ol’ States. I speak German, Italian and French really well; and study latin every day too. I guess I am nerd; but a good actor. My passion? Swimming and the mountains! (oxymoronic, I know) And all night long, slow sex.”

Geil! And if that doesn’t have you going, he offers his AIM screen name freely to anyone who’d like to buddy him. Continue reading ‘Hot Guys You Can Actually Meet: Matthew encore’

My Dad

picture-2.pngpicture-5.png

I never met my father. He left us while my Mom was still big and pregnant with me, and he died in ’84. I have very few pictures of him, but last year Mom surprised me with a digitized video of them vacationing circa 1967. I took these screen shots of the two of them from that vid. Thanks Mom.
